For three days, the team toured industrial plants, forestry operations and strategic areas in Venezuela, strengthening its technical knowledge and commercial commitment to continue delivering value to our customers.
With pride and commitment, MASISA Venezuela's National Sales and Marketing team made a three-day visit to different operations of the company, in order to learn in depth about the industrial and forestry processes that give life to MASISA products, and thus strengthen its commercial proposal with high-value technical arguments.
The activity began at the Macapaima Industrial Complex, where the teams made a complete tour of the Chemical Plant, Wood Operations and Panel Operations, with emphasis on the melamine line. Later, they participated in a work meeting with Industrial Operations and Supply, generating spaces for exchange and direct learning between areas.
On the second day, the visit moved to Camp La Esperanza, where the attendees were able to learn about forestry operations, including the nursery, protection and harvesting processes, and even visit the Caribbean pine plantations, a key source of raw material for the industry.
On the third day, the closing of the experience was in charge of the People, Culture and Communications, and Administration and Finance teams, who shared knowledge and key details about internal processes that reinforce collaborative work and the integral vision of the business.
The visit was described as a significant experience by those who participated, highlighting the value of getting to know each stage of MASISA's production and forestry process in Venezuela in the field.
Rubén Álvarez, Masisa's Sales Manager, underscored the importance of this opportunity for commercial management:
"Knowing the details of our operation gives us many more sales arguments that strengthen our management. From the nursery to the industrial plant, the whole process was enriching and full of learning. I would like to highlight the mystique, dedication and commitment of each member, and I am very proud to belong to the great MASISA family!"
Carina Lobo, also MASISA's Sales Manager, expressed her pride in belonging to the company and described the day as a "pleasant experience":
"Getting to know each of the processes, their history and the control of their operations was gratifying. It is comforting and engaging to be treated by each employee, and I felt at home," he said.
For her part, Josmar Rondón, MASISA's Customer Service Coordinator, highlighted the technical learning that the visit allowed her to acquire:
"It was a delightful experience to observe how wood is transformed from its natural state to finished products, to better understand the processes of cutting, drying, treatment and assembly. I managed to reinforce knowledge about the supply chain and industrial production, I observed the use of automated machinery and understood how this can improve quality and efficiency in the industry, taking into account safety standards. I value teamwork and that together we can offer the best product".
The tour was accompanied by Alberto Fandiño, National Sales and Marketing Manager, who led the business meetings with his team of Luis Miguel Franco, Evelin González, Liz Marcano, Rubén Álvarez, Josmar Rondón, Carina Lobo and Jorge Adrián.
This type of experience reinforces MASISA's sense of belonging, shared knowledge and integrated vision. An informed and committed team is key to offering a better service, responding with agility and generating lasting bonds with our customers.
