This recognition, awarded by Corfo's Sustainability and Climate Change Agency, highlights our commitment to the circular economy and the incorporation of sustainable practices in our production processes.

At MASISA we are proud to have received the certification of the Clean Production Agreement (APL) "Transition to the Circular Economy", an initiative led in Chile by Acción Empresas and supported by public entities such as Corfo and the Undersecretariats of the Environment and Health. This agreement seeks to accelerate the transformation of production processes towards more sustainable and efficient models, integrating circularity principles in companies from different sectors.

As part of its results at the national level, the APL has allowed the reduction of more than 670 tons of raw materials and inputs, the management of 14 thousand tons of waste, savings of more than $1,361 million in only six months, as well as the reduction of 295 thousand cubic meters in water consumption, the recovery of 15 thousand cubic meters, and the avoidance of more than 30 thousand tons of CO₂ thanks to the use of renewable energies and the optimization of productive cycles.

Being part of this collective effort allows us to strengthen our internal capabilities, incorporate new management tools and actively collaborate in the construction of a more efficient, conscious and prepared industry for the challenges of the future.

"This recognition reinforces our conviction that sustainability is a shared path. Being part of this APL has been an opportunity to continue learning, collaborating with different actors and projecting real changes that drive a more conscious and efficient industry."
- Reinaldo Gallegos, MASISA's SMS and Community Relations Manager.

We will continue to move forward with actions that contribute to a more circular economy, connected to the environment and committed to the future.
