At Masisa, safety is a fundamental value and pillar. For this reason, the Occupational Safety team, led by Diego Salazar, Assistant Manager of Occupational Safety, presented the behavioral program "I decide to take care of myself", a program that seeks to strengthen the safety culture in the company's facilities.
"For us at Masisa, safety is a key piece within our processes and areas, since this is how we started the path seeking excellence continuously, improving practices to consolidate a responsible organization, this is how we are committing to this message of "I decide to take care of myself", we seek operational excellence and cultural transformation," added Alejandro Carrillo, Corporate General Manager.
As with all activities, the event began with a safety message delivered in a radio context, where the presentation was followed by a discussion on the importance of this behavioral program, which is "to achieve a change in the behavior of employees to reduce unsafe behavior through individual commitment that allows the cultural transformation of behavior within the operations".
Reinaldo Gallegos, SMS and Community Relations Manager, mentioned "as our first SERIOUS value says, which is Safety, everything begins with the safety of our employees and their families, our facilities, our surroundings, the environment and our customers. We take care of ourselves and others. This is precisely what this behavioral program aims at, the individual commitment to take care of myself, to say every day when our workday ends "Goal Accomplished" because I am going back home to be with my family, with the people I love and care about".
