Latam Nuevo Aeropuerto VIP lounges
Design and comfort in balance
Masisa® Acoustic Wall Coverings and Melamines: Solutions for a space of pause and transition.
Latam's VIP lounges at Santiago International Airport, designed by the office of Enrique Concha and led by designer Bruno Frugone, are conceived as a comforting and functional pause before each flight. This 4,600 m² project, distributed in three lounges -World Member, Premium and Signature-, seeks to create a transitional space that invites rest and comfort. Inspired by Chile's landscapes, Masisa's acoustic panels and melamine play an essential role in transmitting the serenity of the natural environment, providing warmth in walls, ceilings and furniture. The Ash Walnut, Amazon Walnut and Firewood tones were selected to connect with the natural and reflect the unique identity of each room, creating environments where travelers can relax and prepare for the next stage of their journey in a balanced and relaxing space.
Masisa acoustic panels and melamines not only provide visual appeal, but also fulfill an essential function in these transition spaces, where calm and comfort are a priority. Ondas Listones Acoustic Panels are designed to optimize sound absorption and reflection, creating an acoustically controlled environment that promotes relaxation before the flight. These solutions allow travelers to enjoy a moment of tranquility in an environment designed to minimize stress. In turn, the Ash Walnut, Amazon Walnut and Fogon melamines evoke nature through their warm tones and textures, connecting the interior with the natural. These melamines, in addition to being resistant and easy to maintain, reinforce the idea of a cozy and functional space, aligned with the rest needs of passengers and the demands of a high-traffic space.
